Found most grocery store “sourdough” is usually low hydration safe loafs with minimal inoculation, sometimes with added yeast for insurance

  2. Hopefully it tastes better than it looks; but I doubt it.

Is there a line of raw dough in the middle from left to right?

Damn. I can do better and I suck at making bread.

  4. Many grocery store “sourdough” breads are just white breads with additives. The first bakery I ever worked at made a “sourdough”. It was white bread with a “sourdough” powder, smelled like vinegar potato chips and made a bread that was sour, looked the part (from the outside) and was totally bullshit.

What are the ingredients? Anything other than flour, water, starter, and salt?
