Pumpkin pie, one of the most commonly affiliated with the holiday, is the most popular in 37 states, while pecan pie is the most popular in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas.
“While there may never be a different favorite overall than the classic pumpkin pie, the South has a little something to say about that: pecan pie, a sticky, sweet, nutty masterpiece,” the report wrote.
