My tween asked for omurice, so we found a hole in the wall place in the Midwest! Not sure how authentic, but it was the highlight of his week.

I recommend learning to make it at home, it’s not hard if you don’t do it in this new trendy style. It’s not necessary to have the flip and cut method that became viral in recent years, you can cook it as a regular thin omelette layered over rice. I like the ketchup version because I don’t eat meat/demi glace
