Honestly, not very successful. The dough wasn't the right type but they didn't have puff pastry.

    To your credit mate, I also thought that pigs in a blanket were wrapped in dough, not bacon.

    Never even seen it in bacon.

    I think you could have added some sauce, personally, and maybe used nicer sausages, but, I mean, I’d eat that.

    I tried to make soft buns once with flour, yeast, milk, egg, sugar and ended up making a dense bread that tasted exactly like pigs in blanket bread

    …. For some reason I think you’re European. And everything about what you did screams gourmet interpretation compared to the ones I made growing up. Firstly we used the cheap hotdogs. The dough was Pillsbury crescents-from the can. And if you wanted to add cheese it was a slice of Kraft American cheese….

    I’ve never heard of adding g or using bacon but I have had bacon wrapped hotdogs so I could see the appeal… I would think you would have to par-cook the bacon first though or everything would be soggy.

    These comments mildly infurated me😂. I rarely eat hot dogs but hot dogs in any form of dough are to be treated as a delicacy.
