Had higher expectation but still overall good. Maybe like 8.0/10? Also had the mushroom was great but a pretty heavy style. $40 for the cheese which is huge. Had 2 pies for 5 guys.
The crust is what detracted for me. Not much flavor to it. Really cool dudes working there and they created a nice ambience. Looking forward to seeing how they mature.

Meant to clarify $40 seems valid for quality of ingredients they’re using but still obviously a bit insane. San marzano and other imported Italian ingredients.
Edit: Ceres is in Little Italy, not LES. Wasn’t thinking after walking from LES to here. 🙃

I went this afternoon for a slice and thought it was great. I found the crust to be light and flavorful fwiw.

Michelin chefs opened this shop, so not surprised it’s ‘high end’ focus. Hope they can make it on that block. Competition is fierce now.
When I first heard about them on 8it, I went straight there. They use amazing ingredients and they really shine on their pizza.

Very nice guys working when I went by there. Think they are the owners. Crust wasn’t for me. Very cracker-y which I normally enjoy, but there was too much of it and or was just too under seasoned or something. One of the owners said he learned to make pizza at Rosie’s in Point Pleasant. Which I’ve never been there, but my coworker who lives down that way said is great.

The tomato pie with the works (Spicy addition) is INCREDIBLE.
