Local store had a weekly flash sale on strip steak for $3.99/lb.
I believe this is likely sirloin or London broil yeah? I got strips from the same store the week before on sale as well and they had much better marbling.

Buddy these look like pork chops lol
RealDanielSan1
I hope you have good teeth…
tendiesnatcher69
I would believe it, your front one has the little tail there. The marbling obviously sucks.
nevets4433
I think there’s a reason these were that price.
Vegetable-Dog6209
Where’s the marbling 😭
Fongernator
Is this even select grade?
The-KGBBQ
Very well could be strip loin but that cow lived a rough life.
lhfitz76
That looks way too lean. It could be a strip but it’s not USDA choice or prime
lasonna51980
I’m suspicious because you bought them
salucas1990
Looks utility grade. Especially for $4/lb.
PuzzleheadedVirus121
That’s eye of round sliced
futureman07

Wide_Employment_2767

Slice thin and stir fry
No-Lion-1400

danrather50
Looks like buffalo except for the color. Pound it flat and make chicken fried steak.
Z0idberg_MD
Old fashioned muscle steaks.

Sea of Red!!!
Fuzzy_Firefighter_51
It’s a Strip alright. If there’s any grades under Select, this is about 8 notches down from that. Probably inedible.
zooko71
You got took!
Ok_Run3343
Stir fry, stew or grind it up. Ground mixed with a little ground pork will make a good meatloaf
Unlikely_Answer662
The cow must have died from natural causes.
Dependent_Arm5878
I think we would be awesome if you gave us an update on how you cooked it and how it came out. I would be impressed if you pulled something off

I have never seen a better argument for Sous Vide than this picture. 24 hours and a hard sear should make them delightful.
No-Teacher-7020
Was it in like a secret mystery meat grab bag, or you legitimately saw these prior to buying them?
CountChoculahh
Are those pork chops
NonLethalOne
Make chicken-fried steak out of those.

That’s definitely lower fat up north.

This is the healthiest cow ever. Works out every day, keto diet.
nodaysoffNWK
Sometime I wish after showing the precook picture people would show the cooked picture. #ijs
ogshowtime33
That cow was doing pushups for breakfast
Longhaul-shortbus
USDA suspicious 😂
Fantasy_Puck
These cows ran marathons at altitude
Professefinesse
This cow was fuckin shredded 😂
Hellontrails
Shaped like strip. I’d have got it too used an oil based marinade, and reverse sear. Got to make exceptions for $4 steak.
That looks like pork chops 🤣🤣 but if you really need to tenderise and turn this into a good steak J would say soak it in a blended pineapple for 3 hours to tenderise the steak it will at least be better
Waste-Ad6805
How did they look and taste after cooking? I bet they were great.
