Jim’s Original on Elston and Western

I think Jim’s Original uses pickled serranos instead of pickled sport peppers.

They’re spicier than sport peppers. Delicious but whoooo whee! 🥵 🌶️ 😋

Those aren’t sport peppers that’s a whole professional league pepper

Like others said, not sport peppers, but oh man do you play Russian roulette eating them. Sometimes they are ‘ruin your day’ hot.

The sidewalk in front of Jim’s in University Village is littered with them.

They treat me like shit at Jim’s

Sport peppers would be better on the dog if they were chopped up.  You get a more even distribution and peppers with every bite.   Try it with your home dogs, you will never go back.

Thinking about them literally makes me start to salivate. Jim’s is one of the best restaurants chicago has by far, RHR and co don’t hold a candle to their vibes.

Looks great! but can’t do the peppers anymore

I’m surprised to see diced fresh onion instead of Jim’s signature grilled onions.

Looks so good. Love me a little spice on my dog

Did you ask for raw onions? Usually grilled onions are their default.
