Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at Jamil’s and loved that they had dates for anyone coming to break their fast. I’ve never seen this on a menu in Toronto or anywhere else in the western world. It made my heart so happy to see this!
The owner told me that he knows that not everyone would come to his place for Iftar given that the establishment serves alcohol, but he wanted to celebrate anyone who did choose to break their fasts at Jamil’s.
This is the city I want to live in. Ramadan Mubarak!
