This, plus the 50lb bag of rice I bought from Sam's club for $25, is going to feed us for weeks. I like to make giant batches of food and put them into separate containers to freeze or refrigerate. It's so easy to just threw rice in the cooker and reheat what I need to in the crock pot.

My planned meals so far-

15-bean soup with ham hock, sausage, carmelized onions, corn, and celery and served over rice. It'll make about 30 servings. Red beans and rice with ham hock, sausage, onions, and celery, it'll make easily 60+ servings especially served as a side. Smoked chicken quarters which make about 10 dinner servings or so with sides. I'll be saving all the chicken bones and fat to make stock with the rest of the onions and celery I have after setting aside what I need.

I'll be rotating out meals I pull out of the freezer so we don't get bored of the same thing every day.

Awesome! I should do the same with my next round. That’s about all I have left in food stamps for the rest of the month. So that’ll b perfect! Thanks!
