I am working on some space themed macs and would like to fill them with Milky Way filling. Everything I’ve found online seems like it’d be too unstable to use to fill macarons.
Does anyone have a recipe for Milky Way filling that they’d be willing to share with me ? Thank you

Assuming you’re talking about an American Milky Way, I’d just use a milk chocolate, or half milk half white, ganache ring with a dollop of dulce de leche. I love the chew of a Milky Way, but I think you’ll get a similar experience from the cookie itself. Personally, I use canned dulce de leche, since it’s essentially the same as most homemade versions.
I’m sure you could also make a nougat, which seems like it’d actually be a good filling, texture-wise, for a mac, but it may be too sweet and it pretty time consuming. I wouldn’t scoff at the idea of sprinkling a couple tiny bits of chopped Three Musketeers on top of the filling, though 🤔
Such a fun idea!
