Stuart Fish Grill is Treasure Coast restaurateur Kyle Greene’s seventh restaurant in the area. It’s located where his restaurant, Nostalgia Greek Italian Kouzina, used to be. Greene took over the part-Greek, part-Italian restaurant in June 2023 after Tom Bournas originally opened it in 2019.
Greene said Nostalgia was a good restaurant, but it was dated. Customers from his other restaurants were expecting the same “Kyle G experience” at the restaurant after he took it over.
“My intent with buying Nostalgia was to keep it the same, just improve it by offering online reservations, online ordering and improve the bar service,” Greene said, “so our core guests did not enjoy Nostalgia as it is.”
Greene said last summer was horrible for restaurants because of election tensions and high food costs, so he closed Nostalgia to better assess how to use the space.
“We decided to stick to what we do best: Seafood and service, and really honor the history of our community here in Stuart and deliver a polished, casual, everyday restaurant,” Greene said.
