Flagging this for anyone who previously loved this flavor and brand – edys has recently changed the recipe in its classic ice cream. At least for the chocolate, it’s no longer ice cream but just frozen dairy dessert. Definitely a gnarly after taste in the new product, while still charging regular ice cream prices

I knew it tasted different all of a sudden! Didn’t even think to check for the tell tale sign.
The old Breyers treatment. I remember eating Breyers ice cream with my grandma and it was always some qualityice cream. Now it’s not even a comparable to what it was most of their cartons are labeled Dairy desert as well. They mix a bunch of oil and emulsifiers, gives it a strange texture.
That’s sad. Enshittification strikes again.
