All the managers need to be banned from ever working in foodservice. Holy Hell.

I don’t understand, pretty sure McDonald’s has a inspector company like steritech to evaluate them and they do look and see that you are removing machines and kitchen equipment daily for cleaning. This is wild.

Rock over London rock on Chicago
cremedelachem
The smell in that place must be fucking wild 🤣

I had a vague notion of what the word “crud” meant, but the word flashed in neon in my head when I thumbed through these images. It’s crud, no doubt about it. McDonald’s is CRUD, reeking crud.
Very-very-sleepy
oh my god..🤢🤢🤢

I swear long ago McDonald’s really was more consistent with food and kinda the more … better run fast food franchises. Now it’s **wildly** variable in my experience. I’m not a McDonald’s fan, but they were always consistent in my experience, now … dunno what I’m getting.

buh buh bah bah bah, I’m barfing at it
No_Bend8
This is actually pretty clean for some of the places I’ve seen
hamfist_ofthenorth
Is it bad that I’ve seen much, so much worse
TwerkingForBabySeals
This is the exact reason I don’t shop with any restaurants, fast food or not, if I haven’t seen the inside of the place.
You can learn so much just from observing the way the place looks and how the workers carry themselves.

Hi. Can I get a McFood poisoning with a side of dysentery?
Animaleyz
Not a fire hazard at all. Nope.

Call a pro. McDonald’s employees don’t get paid enough for that
rudemoose97
The last kitchen I was in was 10x worse 🤢
Adventurous_Host_426
The smell must be “nice”.

My local one had mould on the inside of the clear plastic ketchup pump dispenser. I reported it but it was still there three weeks later. Manager said it was an air bubble but I’ve never seen an air bubble growing mycelium.

This ain’t a normal McDonald’s situation. Most of those places are spotless and follow an extremely corporate routine and checklists.
LetJesusFuckU
I’ve seen worse in private kitchens.

As a former McD’s overnight manager, I’m incredibly triggered by these pics. Please delete. /j

As a restaurant service tech, I can honestly say that this isn’t out of the ordinary. I’ve been behind literally hundreds of cook lines that look this way, from the cheapest fast food to the nicest fine dining.
groovytunesman
Now clean it up for $8.00 an hour and it better be perfect
ChiefWeedsmoke
Shit yeah
HornedFrog5
Needs to be cleaned but when it gets that bad I’m not touching it for the minimum wage they pay.
JauntingJoyousJona

Isn’t that cup from the 90s?
xGREENxEYEx
Not the one I worked in when I was younger, maybe this one has really poor management
Punny_Farting_1877
Franchise. Gotta be. Maybe Arkansas where the employees can’t see over the equipment let alone move it.

What’s wrong?

Seems like a health code violation

God I do not miss the days of cleaning behind the fryers at BW3s.
