I waffled a lot on what smoker to get last year when I first started out. I’m so glad I got a simple kettle; it’s proven very satisfying to learn how to maintain a temp across different temperatures/weather. Can’t do that on a traeger!

Maybe one day I’ll try an offset – but in the meantime, a simple Weber kettle is so fun to learn on.

Yeah, they are hard to beat. If you have your vents set to where you know you are at 225 and the weather is colder, warmer, a little more wind, no worries if the temps fluctuate 10-15 degrees. I love my Weber for all types of cooking and smoking

Been cooking for 24 years on kettles. Fire management is everything. It’s such a simple, no fuss grill that lasts. Once one understands how to dial in temps, and the value of an instant read thermometer for meats, the kettle is as good as any grill out there,
