Picking up a new-to-me Weber Summit Kamado. Any suggestions for accessories or modifications you guys recommend? Anything you wish you got for it sooner or should I just get grilling on it as is and forget about extras for now?

I have the same grill and here are some extras I have gotten.
I have a vortex and it is really nice for doing wings and such or reverse searing.
I purchased a FireBoard Pro and a Pit Viper fan. Helps keep temp at a flat line.
One time I forgot to turn off the system after smoking a couple chuck roasts (~5 hours), and the grill was a steady 250F for an extra 20 hours before the fuel was spent.

I bought a large deep dish pizza pan that I put on top of the heat deflector, to catch all the grease while smoking.

Had mine since 2020, and the only thing i’ve bought was a raised weber grill expander grate. Otherwise, it does everything I need it to. I have a thermoworks signal and billows fan/controller, but have found that I don’t really need it with this grill.
By far my most used accessory. Literally can’t imagine my grill without it, Weber should have this as a standard accessory.

Order a 2nd charcoal grate so you can just keep one in the lower position 100% of the time and have one for the grilling position you can just take out when you want to smoke with it. Part # 65815. Also grab you a weber charcoal rake. It’s an underrated accessory even if you’re just using it for scooting your baskets around. I keep it on the hook on the front.

I have the following: Weber charcoal rake (good), espetosul rotisserie (good), extra coal grate insert (great) low profile slow n sear (average).
You don’t need much, it’s all ready pretty perfect

Mine has smoke that comes out the sides and the fire is kind of isolated to one spot , makes it harder to cook everything at once what could I be doing wrong?

Get the spider venom temp controller. Was a game changer for controlling temps and it’s awesome that it’s completely stand alone.
I have the kamado joe rotisserie that also works really well. Just required a little fitting with an angle grinder.

I got a [cast iron griddle](https://www.cabelas.ca/product/28027/cabelas-outfitter-series-cast-iron-grillgriddles) from Cabela’s that fits perfect and use it for making smash burgers and breakfast in the summer.
I have a [Digi Q](https://www.bbqguru.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoo771fu_kHztfD-5BsQ_bO2vn-AR5Nz7W-D4bAkiwMw92F5C6rN) from BBQ Guru that I use for long cooks to keep temps stable for 18 plus hour long cooks.

I had this bookmarked for when I get the WSK (in a couple of weeks).
