Had the smoker for probably two years now, and just did wings for the first time. Did them hotter than normal (at the recommendation of a friend), 375 for about 25 minutes. They look and smell awesome! Can’t wait to dig in.

They look great! Your friend was right. If you smoke chicken low and slow the skin becomes rubber and inedible.

They don’t look seasoned or done. Hopefully just not great pics. I do recommend the 0-400 method if you haven’t heard of it. Hasn’t failed me yet.

  3. Smoked wings are great. I finish mine in an air fryer.

You can smoke them low and slow like typical meat but then toss them on a hot grill for a couple mins each side to crisp the skins. That’s how I do them and it’s my favourite way to make them

    Look pretty good.

Try the 0-400 method if you want crispy wings. Just prep them like normal. Stick them on the grill while still off. Then set it for 400 and fire them up.

Flip them about 40 minutes into cooking if you want. It should take about an hour from start to finish and they will be nice and crispy.

  6. 375 for 25 minute seems awfully short. I could see 375 for about 20 min at the end of a longer cook to crisp up

as others have said 0-400 is pretty straightforward and takes about an hour

as long as they were done and you enjoyed them though, that’s all that matters
