Forgot I was drying peppers in the oven and then set it to 400 degrees. Anything I can do with spicy ash?
I ground them up, it really is spicy ash now

Fyi: 400 deg is way too high for drying peppers. Next time dry at around 150-170 deg F.

Done this too many times to count. Usually involves an unplanned nap. You can grind them and add a SMALL amount to other homemade chili powder. Gives a bit of Smokey flavor. But a little goes a long way.
