Mēdüzā Mediterrania is slated to open in Pie Town in 2026, the Nashville Business Journal reports.
The restaurant is to be located at 717 Ewing Ave. and feature upscale Mediterranean fare, including a raw bar, steak options and lobster. It is managed by Noble 33 hospitality group.
Mēdüzā Mediterrania has locations in New York City, Houston and Miami.
Noble 33’s portfolio also includes Taco Madera, Sparrow Italia and Casa Madera.
“As one of the nation’s leading innovators in music, culture and food, Nashville felt like a natural next step in our growth,” Mikey Tanha, Noble 33 co-founder and CEO, said in a press release via Nashville Business Journal.
A local investment group that includes Taylor Preston’s The Natchez Group and restaurant and real estate company Fresh Hospitality had owned the building from which Mēdüzā Mediterrania will operate (read here), with Metro records unclear as if to whether that entity still does.
V Modern Italian to occupy former Hi-Wire space
Upscale restaurant V Modern Italian is slated to open this spring in the Gulch space last home to craft beer taproom Hi-Wire Brewing, Nashville Business Journal reports.
The restaurant will operate in mixed-use building Modera Gulch at 810 Division St. NBJ reports the V Modern will represent the first location in the United States for Fast Fine Restaurant Group, a Madrid and Stockholm based hospitality company.
The restaurant’s menu features fresh pasta, pizza, wine and cocktails, as well as live music, according to its website. Michelin-starred chef Stefano Ciotti and Italian mixologist Federico Pollarolo created the menu.
“I view Nashville as one of the most dynamic, emerging food markets in the U.S. and the world,” Benjamin Calleja, Fast Fine co-founder, told NBJ in a statement.
“New concepts are arriving; palettes and experiences are expanding, and the city is at an amazing inflection point of growth for new concepts that address the needs of Nashville’s young demographic and psychographic profile.”
Demure Cocktail Lounge slated for Germantown
A cocktail lounge is planned for a Germantown space that most recently housed The Library Cafe.
Pikeld Hospitality will own and operate the business, which will be 1960s-themed and offer classic and modern cocktails. The company launched its first concept, Amendment XVIII Cocktail Club, in downtown Franklin in 2021.
Pikeld LLC acquired the property for $875,000 in November, Metro records show.
The Library Cafe opened in early 2024 and seemingly closed later that year, having deleted its online presence.
