  1. Looks simple and delicious. But steaming something submerged in a non-setting liquid isn’t steaming, it’s just a very low simmer. Putting this directly in a pan on a very low flame with a lid on would turn out identically.

  2. I made this last night and it turned out great! You don’t specify amounts for ingredients but I was able to eyeball based on what you were doing. Really good! Next time I make it, I will be halving the coconut milk and subbing something else in because it is very rich and sweet. Also might add more than just chickpeas to the broth.
