An Allentown eatery known for its Mediterranean-style cuisine has closed indefinitely after a Valentine’s Day blaze torched the structure.
Flames igntied just after 7 p.m. Friday at Syriana Mediterranean Grill, 1916 Hanover Ave., Allentown Deputy Fire Chief Christian Williams told lehighvalleylive.com.
No one was at the eatery when firefighters got to the single-story building. It took crews about 10 minutes to get the flames under control, Williams said.
