2 hr dough, the best pizza I've ever had homemade or resteraunt (not a connoisseur by any means) Anyone else think detroit is the best style?

Detriot is underrated. You can get great caramelized cheese, sauce, and dough in a beautiful trinity all around the edge of a pillowy dough. This looks great.

I feel like Detroit is the simplest to do in comparison to how well they come out. Yes the dough is higher hydration but a few stretch and folds then proof in the pan and you’re ready to go.

That’s really impressive for your first time making Detroit style. Keep up the amazing work my friend.

Best bang for buck in all regards for a homemade pizza. I actually think it should be used as the entry point for people that want to get in to homemade pizza. It’s a dead simple pizza to make and requires extremely limited prep.

I like Detroit, but there’s a popular Sicilian style pizza in my area that I prefer. The dough is essentially the same as Detroit, but it uses uncooked, sometimes chunky sauce under the cheese, finely diced onion(typically comes on a pizza automatically unless you ask for it without onions). Cheese is typically a blend of mild cheddar and muenster. It’s worth trying as it’s similar to Detroit.

Detroit is so very underrated, and one of the most difficult pizza styles to screw up.

Once heard a wine sommelier say the best wine in the world is the one you like best.

Looks so good. What’s the method/recipe for this?
