This is a really sweet thing to do for your parents and the cakes look great. I’ve never baked a cake in my life. I’ve baked a few other dessert type dishes but never a frosted cake like this. I host my parents birthdays every year and thought of making the cakes myself from now on. Can you make a frosted cake the day before? I literally have no clue lol

That’s beautiful! Happy Birthday to your Mom and Dad! 😊

  4. Beautiful and they sound so delicious! I made ermine frosting for the first time a few weeks ago and it is soooo good! Easier than it sounded too

I’m in love with the white cake. It’s so pretty!

  6. How do you get the cream cheese frosting to look so fluffy?! Looks great

Hi, do you mind sharing the recipes for both cakes and the lemon frosting?

Something about your cake screams the Victorian era. Looks like a cake a Queen or King would have although their cake would probably be bigger, taller or more intricate. This is just perfect. I love this!

I’m sooooo in love with that first cake… I would do anything for it. It’s so beautiful.
