1.2 lb ribeye. Would y’all say this is medium or medium rare?

    If that thermometer is accurate and that temp was taken at or close to the peak temperature, then it would fall under medium rare.

    If it were possible to thread the needle between med rare and medium you’ve done it! It’s a crazy transition where one side def medium rare and then medium on the other. I’d call it perfect.

    At 134 internal it’s medium. Regardless of the temp, it looks fantastic. Great job on the cook and enjoy the steak cuz it’s a banger.

  10. Closer to medium, but definitely not overdone. About 133.5 degrees, by my eye… if you do this every time, yer an expert.

    Looks good, more on the medium side but I’d be concerned about the plastic cutting board if anything. Wood/bamboo all the way, less plastic bits.

    It looks incredible mate, don’t focus on the temp, it falls between med/med rare; but either way it is a slam dunk cook

    This is perfect medium, but I would say it’s slightly past not slightly under medium

    The right side is MR the left (closest) is a true medium

    Guessing your grill has a hot spot
