La gong biet is an AOP-certified butter given only to excellent local specialties by the French government and is produced in the Charente Puart region in the midwest of France.
La Gungbi, which is made by aging milk cream for more than 18 hours in accordance with the strict traditional method, is said to have a unique spicy flavor. It is also famous for butter served by domestic and foreign luxury hotels and first class Air France.
La Gong Biette’s entry into Korea is the work of Kim Jae-won, CEO of TMG Holdings, who is considered a “big player in the department store dessert industry.” Earlier, he brought famous desserts from abroad, such as LeTao, Bezillur, and Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory, and successfully succeeded.
CEO Kim said, “We will airlift the freshest butter every week,” adding, “It will become the highest quality bread made of butter without any additives such as pigments, oxidants, and deoxidants.”
