I’m assuming this was their private room, right? The regular menu costs 260 euros from what I can see.
Would love to hear a bit more about the experience OP (and whether paying the extra thousand is worth it, even though I highly doubt it).

At least they gave you the water and digestiv free lol

Weird flex bro. Want to share any insight on the culinary or experiential factors, or are you just here to share receipts

  4. Absenteeist

This reads like a post from somebody who paid $15,000 to go to Fyre Festival and has already put down a deposit on the next one.

  5. Mate I hate to break this to you but €1,200pp is rookie number in fine dining. You’re talking about breaking records but you’re probably not even close to the biggest € that night in Madrid. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody else spent more than 1200pp that night in Desde 1911 lol

If you’re interested in breaking records I would like to invite you to the world of fine wine and spirits

  6. I, for one, appreciate these kind of posts.

Pushing the boundaries of off-menu private meals at top restaurants is very fascinating, as any one who has access to these would know.

Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your review.

Username checks out. That’s the kind of bling bling bullshit one meets in Hong Kong a lot.

Do you hear yourself? Such egotism. It’s clear that you have a somewhat different philosophy to dining than do most people on this sub, and most people generally.

While we pay for the experience, it isn’t – and shouldn’t be – an experience where the customer calls the shots. There has to be trust in the professionalism of the people that work in the restaurants, some of which spend more hours in the restaurants than they do their own homes. We are guests, where respect and – within reason – deference should be shown.

    Do better.
