
I know roasts aren’t hard, but given I haven’t made one in years I was pretty sure I’d muck up something.
Corn fed chicken, stuffed with rosemary, garlic and lemon, roasted on onions and carrots (juices from which made the gravy).
Tenderstem broccoli.
Roast Maris Piper potatoes, exactly how I like them – a bit of rosemary, fluffy on the inside, crispy all over, with lots of dark crunchy bits.
(I’m not a fan of stuffing, and can’t eat bread sauce – it’s roasted garlic at the back.)
And it was all ready at the same time, nice and hot! So pretty pleased how it turned out.
Next time I’ll try beef, I think.
