CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — Ambrosia Hospitality Group is set to open its newest concept, Josephine, a French-inspired restaurant, on Friday.
The 125-seat restaurant in the Keystone Group’s Sophia Square in Carmel’s Arts & Design District will offer dinner service with a range of French menu items, including steak frites and escargot.
The beverage program will feature a selection of French wines, and a range of cognacs on the back bar.
The restauranter says the 5,162-square-feet space has undergone a complete transformation and will elevate the Carmel food scene as its newest upscale yet approachable addition.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will happen between 11 a.m. and noon Friday at the restaurant. It’s at 110 W. Main St., which is on the northwest corner of Main Street and Veterans Way. That’s at the corner anchor space at Sophia Square Apartments, Shoppes, & Garage, a Keystone Group mixed-use development completed in 2011.
Ambrosia Hospitality Group also owns and operates Ambrosia Italian restaurant in South Broad Ripple Village, Nowhere Special cocktail lounge on in the Mass Ave Cultural District in downtown Indianapolis, Bocca Italian restaurant in Fall Creek Place on the near northside of Indianapolis, and the speakeasy The Commodore in Indianapolis’ Fountain Square commercial district.
Dan Cage, the owner and operator of Ambrosia Hospitality Group, will help open the newest restaurant along with Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam.
