I have the same smoker. It didn’t come with wasps but it’s a good smoker.

Why risk anything? It’s a beat up old smoker. What could you possibly want inside assuming the sign is right or not?

Dawn dish soap and water with a sprayer. I get wasps often in my shed at the beginning of the summer and this is the best way to kill them. Wasp spray gets expensive, dawn and water is cheap and I can get good coverage, i t basically suffocates them they’ll fly at you then drop.
