ill be making beautiful $30+ steaks for people at work then come home and microwave myself a hot dog with a peice of cheese on it.

My friends used always to give me the “I bet you cook yourself amazing meals on your days off”. My off-day meals were usually a couple of cold hot dogs and a six-pack.

Oh man you did a great job making hotdogs and eggs look top tier in pic 1. 👏🏆

  4. General question: If you had access to all the prep you had in the restaurant kitchen at home (without having to prep it all yourself every time), would you still cook for yourself the same way? Or would you bump it up a little?

For me, part of the reason I cook at home like pic 2 is because I’m not into doing a shitload of prep, and pic 2 is simple, good food that requires very little prep.

    Yup!

“Oh, you’re a Chef?!? You must have wonderful stuff at home!”

Always laughed when I told them I kept a stock of frozen pizza. Sometimes, easy tastes f’n fantastic!

I made a large plate of fish sticks last night. Felt like shit after. Gonna do it again tonight.

So you cook some Michelin star dish for yourself and something that looks like a drunken Waffle House line cook would throw together at 3am for others?

Cool bro, way to be 😂

I was assuming the next Pic was peanutbutter on bread.. lol

Throw that in some tortillas and you have classic weenies con huevos. Common filling down here in south texas.

Classics are classic for a reason. This will always be good

That’s a fancy dish you made yourself. I usually just had some cinnamon toast crunch.

One of my parents (they both cooked) would make this for dinner once in a while. Always with Hebrew National hot dogs. Absolutely delicious.
