Walkers has axed several flavours from its crisps lineup over the last year leaving some crisp fans devestated.
The global crisp giant – which was first founded over 75 years ago in Leicester in 1948 – has had a lot of flavours over the years. Back in the early days of Walkers, ready-salted crisps were the only flavours available. However, over its lifespan, the company has gone on to release more than 130 flavours alongside different types of crisps which include Quavers, Monster Munch, Wotsits, Squares and French Fries.
Some are old reliable flavours and are still available today such as prawn cocktail, salt and vinegar and cheese and onion. Whilst these flavours have stood the test of time, others sadly have fallen off the shelves.

Most recently, fans discovered that Walkers had discontinued its salt and vinegar Quavers flavour. The iconic flavour joined the Walkers’ lineup in 1993 and was eventually pulled from shelves. However, fans were elated when it returned along with the prawn cocktail-flavoured Quavers in 2021 due to popular demand.
Alongside this, the crisp manufacturer also recently confirmed that it had pulled the Fiercely Flamin’ Hot flavour of its Walkers Max range and its Walkers Sensations Peking Spare Rib oriental crackers – however, the company confirmed these had been axed last year.
As well as these flavours, fans discovered recently that Walker’s Worcester sauce, beef and onion, and Wotsit sizzling steak flavours have also been axed. The Museum of Crisps has recently revealed the whole lineup of Walkers crisps flavours which you can no longer buy.
These include the infamous flavours such as baked beans, Brussel sprouts, cheese cucumber and salad cream. The list also includes some of Walker’s “all-time greats” such as Builder’s Breakfast and the cheese toastie.
The list also highlights the times when Walkers teamed up with other classic brands to produce certain flavours, like Branston Pickle, KFC and Gourmet Burger Kitchen Classic Cheeseburger.
