  1. sauce: half-stick of butter, 4 homegrown habanero chilis (flesh only), Frank’s XHot (generous), garlic powder, kosher salt, 1tbsp squeezed orange. Slow simmered 20 min. Transfer to a container suitable for an immersion blender. Blend until the sauce is smooth and emulsified.

    Fresh black pepper over the wings after tossing them in the sauce.
