Homemade, or did you find an Ethiopian restaurant that doesn’t use so much [clarified butter](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niter_kibbeh) it would embarrass a Punjabi restaurant?

Was the pepper cooked or raw? That would be something to eat raw with some injera! (I’d only eat it cooked)

Can someone say what this all is? Ethiopian food always looked unappetizing to me but maybe if I knew what it was and what kinda flavours to expect, I’d be more willing to try it.
