Heads up, Vancouver, a new Parisian bakery is opening its first location in the city, and it’ll be serving some exclusive bites you’ll only be able to find here.

Chef and owner Elena Krasnova opened the doors to her first Mon Paris Pâtisserie location in Burnaby in 2017 and is now expanding into Vancouver proper with her new location in the heart of Olympic Village.

Known best for its award-winning takes on classic cakes, chocolates, pastries, and confections, Mon Paris Olympic Village will feature the same tasty treats alongside new menu items, including Parisian baguette sandwiches and other lunch items.

“I’m so excited to bring Mon Paris to a new neighbourhood in Vancouver and look forward to transporting guests to the heart of the Paris café culture that I fell in love with,” says Krasnova. “I want to thank all of the people who visited us in Burnaby for the past eight years for their support and look forward to bringing a little of that same magic to this new location.”

Located at 1731 Manitoba St., Mon Paris Olympic Village is opening in the former location of Yandoux Pâtisserie. The new spot is 1,150 sq. ft. and will offer seating for 20 in a cozy and bright space that Mon Paris says “hearkens back to the celebrated cafés of Paris that first enchanted Krasnova while she was attending the prestigious Ferrandi Ecole de Gastronomie.”

An exact opening date for Mon Paris Olympic Village has yet to be announced, but people can expect to get its tasty treats this spring.
