Not-so-related, but I've been calculating 380g of raw chicken breast as 418 calories because FatSecret says so. However, EatThisMuch claims it's 627 calories.

I'm very confused and don't want to eat more calories than I think I'm eating.

350g is over 12 ounces of chicken breast (sorry American math) which I could 4 oz as 130 so x 4 would be at least 520.

If you want to be accurate, buy a food scale.

Are there nutrition facts on the label, if so just weight and calculate how many calories and how much protein there is

Depends on the chicken breed and how it was raised. You can never know for certain the amount of calories for most foods so it’s best to have a margin of error. For 350g of chicken breast, the margin of error is around 50 calories it seems.

the 627 calories might be for cooked chicken or chicken with skin

Eat This Much shows 456 Calories for raw chicken breast (you can just go to the link and change the amount: [https://www.eatthismuch.com/calories/chicken-breast-451?a=3.22034%3A0](https://www.eatthismuch.com/calories/chicken-breast-451?a=3.22034%3A0) ). ETM uses the USDA database for most simple ingredients like this, which is the same data that many (most?) websites and apps use.

If you search directly for 380g chicken breast in google, you’ll see 627 Calories and those links are pointing to cooked chicken breast, which loses water weight and will be more calorically dense than raw versions. So it just depends when you’re weighing your chicken.

I generally use FDA or Nutritionix as reputable sources of nutrition information
