    Ingredients:

    2 cups flour

    1 tbsp baking powder

1/ 4 cup sugar (plus a little for topping)

    1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup cold butter or vegan butter, cubed

3/4 cup plant milk (or regular milk)

    1 tsp vanilla

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

    2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

    3. Cut in cold butter with a fork or your fingers until it’s crumbly.

    4. Stir in milk and vanilla just until the dough comes together.

    5. Drop onto the baking sheet in rough rounds or gently shape into circles. I use about 1/4 cup each. Sprinkle tops with sugar.

    6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.

Once I took a girl out on a lake for a romantic lunch on the water and forgot a corkscrew for the wine.

Dump it all together and eat it with your fingers like savages.

Are you willing to share how you made the whipped aquafaba? I’ve been dairy free for a while and tried making coconut whipped cream and it was awful, would love to find another option

Who needs a spoon 🥄 when you have fingers…

I see no problem here.  Dip the scones and strawberries in cream.  Drink entire container.

Funny story. I packed a picnic for a kayaking trip with my mom and forgot the cutlery in the car. We passed a family camp site about 500′ from where we set up, so I just told her that I’d circle back and see if they could spare a fork or two.

This woman, who hates to inconvenience anyone, was like, “It’s okay! I’ll just use this clam shell” and shows me this algae covered shell that she had just pulled out of the water.

  11. Nice; this looks like something my parents would make for special breakfasts. Drop biscuits crumbled into a bowl, cut and sugared strawberries, and pudding (milk, sugar, etc), then slightly mixed together and eaten like cereal.

And to think I used to get questioned about why I keep a spoon and fork in my bag…

You can just take a bite out of a cucumber and use that as a spoon!

Spoons we don’t need no stinking spoons
