These we're good with fresh lemon juice and a lil Jalapeno tabasco. Any fans?

Huge fan. These and the calamari are my two favorite TJ’s tins. Also, fish aside, the tinned chickpeas and the giant baked beans in tomato sauce are phenomenal.

Pick up their smoked oysters from Crown Prince. I swear they taste like hardwood smoked bacon but so much better for you.

I just had these for the first time last week and WOW, so good! I just scooped them out with crackers for a quick lunch in the field at work. Imagine they’d be even better with mustard or hot sauce

Love them so much. Regularly eat them for breakfast with hard boiled eggs, avocado, lemon, hot sauce.

Delish and the price is right. Nice tin too.

Easily the cheapest tinned mussels I’ve seen and I love them. I usually just dump the whole tin into a pan and heat them up with minced garlic, then serve with pasta. Easy, cheap, delicious dinner!

I literally bought these for the first time today, so seeing this post is a good sign!

  8. Love sardines. Haven’t been able to get into the mussels, oysters, or clams.

My new job is next to a Trader Joe’s and so on my lunch a few days ago I picked these up along with some of their sardines. To be frank, I was impressed. I have worked at Caputo’s/A Priori, I regularly work in various Asian restaurants (You can get some very interesting preserved sea foods from East and Southeast Asia), and I import tins from all over (Tariffs be damned). I have had tinned fish and conservas of all sorts and all prices. That’s what blew me out of the water with these, $1.99 for a tin that was easily $8-15 in quality. I’ll be stocking up on these and trying the rest of the line! Hell, at about 1/4 of the way through the tin I quit putting mustard on the crackers and around the 1/2 way point I even stopped with the crackers.
