Nice, now I’m salivating. You did good, although your pan might not be distributing heat properly. I recommend you try reverse searing.

Excellent. Pretty much medium rare all the way through. The thickest ones a little closer to Blue rare, but I’d never call that a problem

  3. Really good. Imo needs another 2-3 degrees but thats my personal preference

I personally like my steaks slightly more cooked than that but it looks great!

I am a new steak lover too!

That looks horrible!!! Tell me exactly how you cooked it so I can help you fix it (or maybe use your recipe for myself lol).

“Recently fell in love with steaks”? Awesome job for a 5-year-old. Seriously, welcome to the club.

Looks like it needed rested abit longer before slicing it up but I’d smash that in me quick haha that just means you need to do it again, not that you need an excuse to have another steak. Hope you enjoyed it!

Rib end delmonico is the best with that cap on there. Well done not the steak. The steak choice

People saying this needs more time are the same people slathering this in ketchup. Mouth breathers.

Did u use a spoon to cut it or wtf happened there?

It was a good piece of meat but it’s unevenly cooked. One piece towards the bottom is still rare.

Also, let it rest longer, ideally on wood not a cold plate. Those juices should be in the meat not the plate.

  13. Nice, I’ve taken to eating them closer to rare but this is still good to me

You need to let it rest longer. See all that fine juice on the plate. It ought to be in the meat. Be patient, makes mashed potatoes or some salad. Let it rest a full 10 minutes.

Other than that, it looks great.
