This was my first time using anchovy filets instead of paste and panto instead of cheap breadcrumbs, and it made a huge difference to what was already great. Needed more anchovies for such a big batch that was 90% of my food for the day.

This recipe made me think of the “trick” my mom used cooking pasta in the water that she had boiled the vegetables in. I’m definitely going to give this a try. My mother’s stuffed peppers included raisins so I can definitely see how the flavors would work together. Thanks for posting this!
