Le Carousel Patisserie, a new delicious gem in San Francisco’s culinary scene, has been launched by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Claire. Operating from a professional kitchen in Potrero Hill, Le Carousel offers traditional French desserts through pop-ups, as well as delivery and pick-up options.
Jeremy Mullet, originally from Royan, France, moved to the Bay Area in December 2019, bringing with him a passion for French patisserie. In Europe he worked in prestigious venues such as the Four Seasons in London or the Yul Val D’Isère. Here in the Bay Area, he previously
held the position of head chef at the popular Le Marais Bakery and has also worked at Mademoiselle Colette. Together with Claire, whom he met shortly after moving to the Bay Area, they bonded over their love of baking, a connection that would later lead to the creation of Le Carousel Patisserie. Claire takes care of all the business and marketing aspects.
The couple’s journey to San Francisco culminated in the opening of their patisserie in 2024, just months after they got married at City Hall. Inspired by Jeremy’s long-held dream of owning his own pâtisserie, they decided to turn their vision into reality sooner than anticipated.
Le Carousel Patisserie now brings beautifully crafted, traditional French pastries to the Bay Area: Paris Brest, Saint Honoré and is starting bakery & “viennoisserie” items like baguette and croissants / chocolate croissants in a very near future.
