A French-American restaurant and a French bistro in Palm Beach are set to feature wine-tasting affairs highlighting French pours, including Champagne.

On March 27, Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court, 301 Australian Ave., will feature French Champagne house Tribaut-Schloesser.

A four-course dinner will be served with a menu conceived by Café Boulud sommelier David Sauer, executive chef Christopher Zabita and pastry chef Rosana Quintero.

The special guest of the evening is Laurent Dumenil of Tribaut-Schloesser.

The dinner’s wine-paired courses will include Belfago tuna crudo; Spanish turbot with crispy oyster; milk-fed veal loin with broccolini and caper-egg salsa; and a Marsala-accented bavarois dessert with biscuit cuillère and strawberries.

The event at Café Boulud is $345 a person, plus tax and gratuity.

On March 30 at French bistro La Goulue, 288 S. County Road, a multi-course wine-paired tasting will showcase wines from Bordeaux’s Château Angelus.

The special guest and co-host at the 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. event is Yves de Launay, executive vice president of Château Angelus.

He’ll join La Goulue sommelier Xavier To Van Trang as they guide guests through the distinctive qualities of each wine served.

A four-course tasting menu by executive chef Gwen Le Pape will feature braised beef short ribs; poached egg with red-wine sauce, bacon, and mushrooms; beef Wellington; and a molten chocolate cake.

The event at La Goulue is $350 a person, plus tax and gratuity.
