The Sabrina’s Wish Goshen Food Pantry is holding its bimonthly food giveaway on Tuesday this week. Families will pick up their two-week supply of groceries and will have a surprise waiting for them on the way out. “It helps people to have a good meal,” Wesley McGinnis, a pastor at Goshen Church of Truth, said. “You just kind of bring them together, take a little pressure off.”The pantry will be giving away 100 holiday bags that have a Christmas meal in them, each with an entire ham. “We’ll provide a good meal where they normally wouldn’t have one,” McGinnis said. “Everybody comes together, and it’s the team that we have and all the volunteers, that’s what makes all this happen.”The pantry is getting the holiday bags from Harp’s, located on Crossover Road in Fayetteville. “Everybody’s got to have a Christmas dinner,” Tammy Jones, Harp’s customer service manager, said. “I love helping people, and it just makes my heart feel really good.”You can donate to Sabrina’s Wish here.
