✨ Ingredients:
• 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 egg
• 10 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 ½ cups warm milk
• ¼ cup vegetable oil
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tbsp yeast
• A little vanilla
🔥 Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, egg, yeast, and vanilla until well combined.
2️⃣ Add half of the flour and mix, then gradually add the remaining flour in 3-4 steps until a non-sticky dough forms.
3️⃣ Add baking powder to the flour. Finally, add oil and salt, then knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough becomes soft and smooth.
4️⃣ Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest at room temperature for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
5️⃣ After resting, deflate the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape them as shown in the video.
6️⃣ Roll four pieces in water and then in sesame seeds. Arrange the dough into four groups of three, placing one sesame-covered dough in the middle of two plain ones.
7️⃣ Place them on a baking tray, cover, and let them rest for another 20 minutes.
8️⃣ Brush the plain dough portions with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 25 minutes.
9️⃣ For a golden crust, turn on the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
