

Had a NY strip in the freezer to cook up for dinner while the fiancé wanted leftovers. First time I tried reverse, it was good, but not THIS good. Put a little more effort into it and now it’s the next day and I’m craving more steak.
Next time I’m putting it on the Blackstone sooner, and getting more crust.
BUT instead of the oven, I used my pellet grill.

Mastered on the SECOND attempt?! Proud of you. Reverse sear is hands down my favorite method. But I do 200°F for around 40mins so I can cook all the sides. With that 10 min rest and then sear, everything is finished at the same time… Dang your Pic really brings back memories. GOOD JOB!!
