These were my first ever bakes for an event. I was so nervous but everyone loved them! I know I still have room to grow with piping and buttercream skills, but I'm proud of how it turned out.

Snoopy faces were made by hand with chocolate wafers, a toothpick, and loads of patience. Flowers were made with piping bag and chocolate wafers.

The main thing I can tell ya is that you nailed it with the Snoopy decorations, as well as the beach theme!!

The cake on slide 4 gives a naked cake vibe. Its simple and well done if that’s what you and the customer wanted!

    10/10

The snoopy cake and cupcakes are absolutely adorable, you nailed it 100%!

I think for price just figure out your base price per serving of cake as well as per cupcake (I recommend basing price on wedding servings but also having a chart so you know how many party servings a cake will yield).

I’m just starting out with selling my baked goods so my prices are low af to reflect that 😅 but it makes it easier to look at it per serving and per cupcake. You could totally email a bakery near you and ask for their prices to get kind of an idea on where you would be given your experience and skill etc.

I would also add to the price depending on if there are unusual or pricey ingredients or it’s particularly complicated or labor intensive.

    Everything looks really good!

And I love that the grass for Snoopy stuff is that dark green rather than bright green. But, I def thought it was weed ground up at first. lolololol

I would guess “loads of patience” is an understatement! But well worth it! They are stunning!

As for price. Cost of ingredients + (time x the hourly wage you feel is fair for your skill level)

Etsy has recipe cost calculators that you can download onto google sheets or excel, they’re super handy when you’re just starting out! I bought one for like $3 and love it. You can input your ingredients and cost along with hourly rate and cost for supplies and it will give you your profit margin and all that per serving and per recipe. Make sure to charge what you’re worth! A lot of new bakers tend to sell low at first due to lack of confidence or being unsure of their market but you could easily charge $50 for your dozen snoopy cupcakes alone and another $60+ for the cake. Keep at it, this is great work!
