I tried to my best ability to calculate myself how many calories are in here and got the number 900?! Does this look right?

Yes. It’s pretty shocking, but depending on the amount of cookie butter and granola (both of which tend to be pretty calorie dense), 900 isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility. The day I learned that acai bowls were actually not that good for my weight loss goals was the day I lost my innocence forever.

maybe just eat less of it. or fast a while and save it as your major food of the day. half of your daily cals leaves a decent amount of room.

Yep. Cookie butter and granola are calorie dense. Açaí bowls aren’t good for being in a deficit.

How tasty was it? That’s how I justify eating stuff like that. I had a couple tacos yesterday that were about 900 calories for both. They were delicious, so they were worth the work.

Yes, Acai is almost pure sugar. Good vitamins and minerals but pure sugar. If your only toppings are granola, coconut, and blueberries the whole thing is likely 500 ish. Peanut butter/honeys adds 150-200 easily

unsweetened shredded coconut unfortunately has 185 calories per oz. granola is usually about 120 calories per quarter cup, cookie butter is about 160 per 2 tbsp, a whole banana is 105 calories, and i count most fruit as 15 calories per oz, this looks like it is around a 12oz container. that’s 750 right there and i have a feeling theres more than 2tbsp of cookie butter.

These are surprisingly good for a premade acai bowl. And I imagine you could add a bit of cookie butter/fruit and keep it under 500 cals- I worked at a smoothie/acai places for a few years so Ik good acai is hard to come by but these are great and low cal!
Coconut shreds and most granolas are really high in calories unfortunately. And cookie butter is also pretty high too.

the day I found out how many calories are in a standard acai bowl, Ive never craved it again. the calories arent worth the taste. I would much rather have pint of ice cream. :'( . but yes I would say + or – 900-1000

Acai bowls are crazy for added sugar, yes it is this high. Unless I make it, I wont buy them. Everything here is calorie dense.

Dude. Make your own yogurt bowls at home! These taste SO GOOD and they are 225 calories. [https://imgur.com/a/0KJNZvo](https://imgur.com/a/0KJNZvo)
