Casbah Mediterranean Cafe and Kitchen has taken over the former Juniper Coffee Shop in St Stephens Road.
The cafe is on the row of shops by the Coachmakers Arms and Quasar.
The shop front has been painted orange and a sign in the window is advertising for a new barista.
The cafe is set to serve Mediterranean food (Image: Newsquest) Juniper reopened in October 2023 after three friends – Kamal Tazerout, Brahim Nour and Kamel Medgahed – resurrected their local cafe that had closed in July.
They had been regular customers for more than five years and were determined to keep it going.

They launched a new menu that included breakfast items and a variety of Mediterranean and Algerian dishes.

It is not currently known who will be running the site.
