I was gifted the Pit Boss portable pellet smoker and will be doing a full chicken today on it. I was curious of the ins and outs of a smaller smoker and if i should treat the process differently as in times and temps than a full sized smoker?

It works well but keep an eye on the temp and pellet hopper. The auger in those are so short of it gets hot enough it can ignite the pellets in the hopper. My dad props the grill up about an inch on the hopper side to reduce the chance of a fire.
