Can anyone help me translate this recipe? It was a purple (beet?) salsa I had in Mexico some years back. I'm unsure if these ingredients were all roasted or not. I'd love to recreate it if possible!

ChatGPT’s guess:
1 piece of beet ½ white onion 1 clove of garlic 2 habanero peppers ½ cup of white vinegar ½ cup of water
Old-Asparagus2387
1 piece of beet
1/2 white onion
1 clove of garlic
2 habaneros
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water

So for the first part this is what came up.
How do you say beet in Mexico? remolacha f
less common: betabel m [Lat.
So that tracks with your beet thoughts. The rest are easy onion, garlic, chilis, vinegar, water And yes probably roasted

Betabel was the word I was stuck on! It’s another word for beet (remolacha threw me off). I’m curious to see how much I’m going to have to blend this if it is indeed a raw salsa.
