Still wrapped prosciutto that was purchased for me in Europe several years ago, package has never been open and it has been refrigerated the whole time. Edible?

I’m actually really curious. I’m 99% that it’s bad but open it and take a wiff. If you had frozen it it may be okay.

If we could smell it and fondle it, maybe we could give you half-assed ‘Yes”, or a “Hell No”. But we can’t.
What you do instead, is you smell it for yourself, and then just throw it away regardless of what it smells like.

How does it smell? The nose knows.

While a scrolling I thought it was a shoe insert…

Eat it and let us know if you get sick. If you do its probably not safe to eat

Fridged, not frozen?

You could probably still eat it and not die but I bet it tastes horrible.

I wouldn’t. Food poisoning sucks

The smell alone would make you pass out the second you open it.

Just try it OP and report back asap
I’d at least open it and give it a sniff.
