Bought a couple of iron bar for $20 and made a Yakitori grill out of refractory bricks. Pretty fun but it’s so hard to get the temperature up high. I guess that’s why they use expensive binchotan 🤔

Buy natural lump. They sell Royal Oak at most home stores and they get hotter than briquettes with less ash.
